Bicycle Technician, Full Time

Glacier Cyclery & Nordic is seeking a bicycle technician for our fun, fast-paced, meticulous shop in Whitefish, MT. We work on almost every kind of bike throughout the season. If you enjoy bikes, cyclists, and keeping cyclists on their bikes, this just might be the job for you.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Our ideal hire enjoys cycling and is an experienced bicycle mechanic. Knowledge of current bicycle components and adjustment, tuning and maintenance of said components is preferred. This includes suspension fork and shock maintenance, rebuilds & repair; hydraulic brake system bleeds, rebuilds, and repair; bike assembly; current drivetrain knowledge, including electronic shifting. E-bike diagnosis and repair is preferred. We service such a variety of bikes, so a well-rounded mechanic is desired. If you have shortcomings in one or some of the previously mentioned departments, please don’t let that stop you from applying, we have knowledgeable mechanics who are willing to share their know-how with the right candidate. Good communication and customer skills, follow through, pride in work, and a sense of humor go a long way.
